					Hoist Gearbox The MPW hoist gearbox has carborized and precision ground gearing. A center split, cast steel housing means gearing components are easily accessible should service or replacement ever be necessary. The gearbox is design for severe service according to all applicable standards.
					Hoist Motor Hoist motor and brake is flange mounted to the gearbox. Alignment of the drive shafts and couplings are assured, minimizing wear on parts and re-assembly is simplified. Class F motor insulation is standard and motors are protected according to IP55 to prevent water ingress. Dynamic braking is provided for inverter driven hoist motors.
